In the past, hair transplants involved removing strips of hair and scalp. The process was painful, invasive, and messy. During a NeoGraft hair transplant, your doctor and team use follicular unit extraction (FUE), which removes every hair follicle graft unit separately. We draw a sample of blood from your arm and use a machine called a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the other ingredients in your blood. Your hair grows in stages, and the transplanted follicles follow your natural growth patterns. Some transplanted hair may fall out before the regrowth begins, but this is a normal part of the hair growth cycle; don’t worry.
The growth cycle begins about three to four months after your procedure, and by six months, you'll see significant hair regrowth. You’ll achieve full results within 12 months. We see you at regular intervals to monitor your progress.
