BodyTite uses radio frequency (RF) energy to stimulate your skin. The energy increases the amount of fibroblasts, which in turn produce collagen and elastin. You’re probably already familiar with the benefits of collagen. This protein provides a strong matrix for your skin, to help make it thicker and stronger.
Elastin is another protein that’s essential for all skin, but particularly loose skin. As its name suggests, elastin increases the ability of your skin to snap back into place, like an elastic band.

How BodyTite feels
Your BodyTite treatment is simple and relaxing. As you lie back on a treatment table, we give you an injection that combines a local anesthetic and epinephrine. The epinephrine decreases bleeding. It also helps any excess fat swell and harden so it’s easier to remove.
The BodyTite device contains two electrodes. One goes under your skin, and the other rests on top of your skin. These electrodes deliver radiofrequency energy directly into fatty tissue, melting fat and triggering healing.

We do recommend that you take a few days off from most types of work. You need to modify intense physical activity for about two weeks. Most bruising, swelling, and tenderness disappear during that time. However, you could have some lingering swelling.
We also suggest that you wear a compression garment under your clothes for about six weeks. Compression garments help control swelling and aid tissue contraction.
